Pellegrino Urciuoli

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the unexpected passing of our dear father Pellegrino on October 14, 2017, at the age of 71. After 50 years of marriage, our dad will be missed by his beloved wife Rita; three children, Sabino (Jodee), Roberto (Ruth), and Gloria (Tony); eight grandchildren Alexandra, Brandon, Kadin, Conor, Makaylah, Liam, Milo, and Carmen. Pellegrino will also be missed by his three brothers in Winnipeg, Carmine (Maria), Palmerino (Nina), Fioravante; as well as his two brothers and three sisters in Italy, Antonio, Antonietta (Giovanni), Bruna (Stefano), Gaetana (Franco), Ciro (Concetta). Pellegrino was also predeceased by his parents, Sabino Urciuoli and Palmina Bonito; sister Maria; brother-in-law Antonio; two sisters-in-law, Agata and Pina. Pellegrino will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, and friends. Pellegrino was born on November 6, 1945 in Atripalda, Italy and moved to Winnipeg in 1964. He worked in construction for over 30 years of his life and retired in 2011. During his retirement he spent his time hunting, fishing, gardening and enjoying his time with family and friends. Condolences will be held at 10:00 a.m., Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m., on Friday, October 20 at Holy Rosary Church, 510 River Ave., with Rev. Fr. Sam Argenziano officiating, interment will follow at Green Acres Cemetery.
