With saddened hearts we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend on July 27, 2025.

Phyllis was born on September 15, 1946, in Swan River, Manitoba.

Phyllis leaves to mourn her children Rhanda (Edgar), Randy (Darlene), Roxanne (Troy); grandchildren Dustin (Amanda), Brittney, Justin, Amanda, Ashley (Tim), Michael, Matthew, Carson and Declan; 7 great grandchildren Stella, Jack, John, Loretta, George, Quinton, Amaya.

She is also survived by her sister Ethel, and brother Cameron (Karen) and many nieces and nephews.

Phyllis was predeceased by her parents George and Susan, her sister Gladys and brother Calvin.

She enjoyed knitting, plastic canvas crafts, bingo, jigsaw puzzles and Jets hockey.

Her favorite place to spend her summers was at the homestead sitting around the campfires with family telling stories and reminiscing.

Phyllis enjoyed and cherished spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held on August 5, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Green Acres Funeral Home located east at Hwy 1 and Navin Road. An interment will follow the service, and then refreshments with family.

Phyllis’s family would like to thank the staff at St. Boniface and Misericordia Hospital for their excellent care and support for mom. Also, to the staff at Arlington house where Phyllis resided from October 2024 till July 2025.

Donation may be made to the Alzheimer's/ Dementia Society of Manitoba at 120 Donald Street, Winnipeg Manitoba; or the Winnipeg Humane Society.
