

Wanda will be lovingly remembered by her daughters Adina Peters, Eileen Funk, Judy (Wayne) Urbonas and Carla (Darren) Thiessen, grandchildren Adrian Peters (Kathleen), Amber (Matthew) Hoover, Robert (Jill) Urbonas, Kim (Cory) Lind, Kenton (Jacqui) Jantzen, and Carter (Ashley) Jantzen. She is also survived by Great-Grandchildren Taylor and Riley Peters, Blake, Katelyn and Chase Jantzen, Addisyn and Jocelyn Jantzen, Fiona Lind. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Deanna Neufeld of Winnipeg and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Franz Neufeld, parents Gerhard and Malwina Neufeld, son-in-law Art Peters, and her siblings George, Harry, and Agnes.
Wanda spent time in church with the Willing Helpers, working with the Sunday School, canvassing for March of Dimes, Kidney Foundation, and the Cancer Society. Wanda loved to write poetry and Frank assisted with helping her publish two books, which helped to raise funds for the Zaporizhzhya Family Centre in the Ukraine.
Wanda was a caring, loving person who enjoyed her family and her church. Her 77 year marriage with Frank was a blessing.
She has lived the good life and was ready to meet her Maker.
The celebration of Wanda's life will be held at North Kildonan Mennonite Church, 1131 Roch Street on Thursday, September 18, 2025 at 11:00 am with interment to follow at Green Acres Cemetery.
