Warren Wayne Cahill
October 7, 1947- July 30, 2025
It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our Dad, Warren at the age of 77. Dad was surrounded by his family when he left us. Warren was predeceased by his wife Lorraine, granddaughter Jenna, parents William and Stella and his sister Mary.
Left to mourn are his children Justin (Jessie), daughter Marnie (Rob), grandchildren Jordan, Madison, Jayce and Jamie; brother Barrie and many nieces and nephews.
Warren was born on October 7,1947 and the Cahill family lived in Transcona. He met Lorraine in 1965 and they married in 1969.
Warren was a very ambitious and hardworking man; also very creative and extremely handy. There aren’t many things he couldn’t fix, build or create.
Dad worked at Canadian pacific railway as a conductor and later an engineer up until his retirement in 2001, he was also a car dealer for over 50 years. Warren and Lorraine enjoyed renovating homes so as a result they moved around quite a bit in the early years of their marriage. Warren became a Father with the birth of Justin in 1981 and again when Marnie came along in 1983, the family moved to Lorette Manitoba in 1985 where they remained until 2012. They had built a home in paradise village and made many friends there, Dad remained living in that home after the passing of Lorraine until 2018 when he bought a home in Niverville with Marnie and together they did one last renovation. Warren lived with Marnie and Madison until his passing.
Dad loved his family immeasurably but a close second is his love of old cars.
Please join us in celebrating our Dad, if you have a classic car bring it down for his send off, that would make him smile.
Funeral to be held on August 15th @ 2:00pm at Green Acres Funeral Home, a luncheon and celebration of life to follow at Lorette Bar for 3:30.
Dad you are missed more than words can say, until we meet again.
