It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Yvonne Marie Annette Valcourt (nee Lamontagne) at the age of 94.
Born on December 14, 1930 in San Clara, Mb and died May 24, 2025 in Winnipeg, Mb.
Yvonne is survived by one sister Irene Bangle. She was the proud and devoted mother to daughters Paulette (Cameron) Barley, Debbie (Brent) Clague, Jackie (Rick) Mason, Diane (Doug) Carr. She had 2 step daughters Lorraine (Euclid) Asselin and Camille (Pat) Girardin. She was a cherished grandmother to Curtis (Deanne) Barley, Daniel Barley, Alana Barley, Melanie Mason, Joshua (Alyssa) Mason, Dave (Laura) Beaudoin, Jason (Brigitte) Van Raalt, Meaghan (Garth) Yoshino, Robert Carr, Nicole Carr, Tina (David Dube) Kenzie and Kim (Chris) Druissi. She was a devoted great-grandmother to Serina Barley, Cameron Barley, Austin Barley, Stephanie Barley, Savannah Schmitke (Barley), Aubrey Carlson (Mason), Declan Mason, Alan (AJ) Yoshino, Kali Yoshino, William Carr, Nicholas Kenzie, Chloe Druissi, Keili Druissi and great-great grandmother to Kendrick Schmitke.
Yvonne was predeceased by her parents Raoul and Alice (nee Travis) Lamontagne, her daughter Lynn, son Dennis, brother William, sisters Olive and Ida and her husband Leo.
A private service will be held at the family’s request.
Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
