Angelia Paulette (Smith) Cooper, 66 years of age died Sunday February 7, 2016. She was born June 29, 1949 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Paul L. And Beatrice (Woodcox) Smith. Paulette was a 1967 graduate of Ahrens High School and a Kentucky-Indiana Cheerleading All Star. She was an active member of the Community of Christ and worked for many years as a Special Education Instructional Assistant with the New Albany Floyd County School System. Paulette was amazing at decorating, crafting and writing. She loved reading and studying the Scriptures and most of all loved her family and friends. Survivors include her Husband of 46 years Richard W. Cooper; daughter, Rhonda Lynnette Renfrow, son, Jeremy Wayne Cooper and wife JoAnne; grandchildren, Kelsie, Abigail, Memphis and Maddyn; sister, Carol Lane Roth and many nieces and nephews. Visitation 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm Thursday and after 9:00 am Friday at Kraft Funeral Service 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. Funeral Service will be noon Friday in the Kraft Capel. Private entombment to follow in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park. Expressions to Hosparus or Glenn Wood Hills Campground in care of the family.
