In addition to her mother, Wilma Self, she is preceded in death by a daughter, Tracy McConnell; two granddaughters, Brianna Atwood and Katie Roberts; siblings, Laymon, Patsy, Loretta and Sheila; and a niece, Tiffany.
Betty is survived by two children, Beverly McConnell and James Gresham (Stacy); grandchildren, Brandon McConnell, Justin McConnell, Erika Gresham and Elena Gresham; great grandchildren, Jaden McConnell, Connor McConnell and Kali McConnell; siblings, Ed, Eldon, Wanda and Pauletta and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 10-2 on Thursday, October 23, 2025, with funeral service beginning at 2:00 pm at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 East Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana with burial to follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.
