Betty retired from the Floyd County Clerk’s Office and cherished time spent with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Chester D. Plaiss, and her sister, Shirley Wallace.
She is survived by her daughter, Kathy (John) Norton; grandchildren, Christopher Driver, Sarah (Matt) Sturgis, and Jon (Felicia) Driver; and great-grandchildren, Jackson, Daphne, Eli, and June.
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, September 6th from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Kraft Funeral Home (2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, IN), with a memorial service to follow at 1:00 p.m. A private burial will take place at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
