Brian Patrick Catt

Brian Patrick Catt, 50, of Tarpon Springs, Florida formerly of New Albany, Indiana passed away Friday, July 24, 2020 at his home. Brian was born on November 26, 1969 in New Albany, Indiana to the late Robert and Wanda Hargis Catt. He is the owner of American Painters Inc. in Tampa Florida. Brian was a member of Harborside Christian church in Safety Harbor FL. He enjoyed entertaining and spending time with friends, attending concerts and festivals, taking walks with his wife and two constant companions Oscar and Pandi (his dogs), watching survival shows and following politics. He loved heights and adventure, boating and jet skiing, dressing up in fun costumes to make everyone smile and laugh, and spending time at his favorite place Clearwater Beach. He was passionate about his family and friends, patriotism and love for his country, the business he owned, and living his life to its fullest. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his oldest brother, Steve Catt. Brian is survived by his wife, Rebecca Catt; children, Christopher Catt, Logan Catt, Krista Smithson, Shane Wiley and Briana Mediavilla; grandson, Ayden Mediavilla; siblings, Sandy Freiberger, Robert “Brad” Catt and Bruce Catt; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be on Sunday, August 2, 2020 from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road. Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 3, 2020 at the funeral home with burial to follow in Kraft Graceland Memorial Park.
