Carolyn S. Morgan

Carolyn was born on July 18, 1932, to Ida Mae (Lewis) Cullins and Martin Cullins, and was the youngest of their three girls. Carolyn attended New Albany High School before going to work at Public Service Indiana at age 17.

Carolyn married Robert P. Morgan on July 11, 1953. They were married 60 years.

Carolyn was a dedicated employee and enjoyed a long career at Public Service before retiring. Afterwards, she continued to work there as a contract employee until she retired a second time to stay home and care for her husband. She was deeply devoted to her faith and St. Mary’s Church, both as a parishioner and as a volunteer. She found great fulfillment in giving to others. At home, Carolyn especially enjoyed working in her yard and talking with neighbors.

In addition to her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by Robert Morgan, her husband, and Mary C. Naser, her sister. Carolyn is survived by her daughter, Beverly Anderson (Andy); grandsons Jeff Anderson and Russell Anderson and their families; her sister, Sr. Joanne Cullins; and her nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana 47150, on March 12, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

Funeral Mass will be held at St Mary of the Annunciation Catholic Church, 8th and Spring Sts, New Albany, Indiana, on March 13, 2026, at 10:00 am.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Hosparus Health of Southern Indiana or St. Mary's Church are appreciated.
