

Wes was born on January 24, 1951 in Warren, Arkansas, and passed on April 17, 2026 at Norton Clark Hospital in Jeffersonville, Indiana at the age of 75. Wes joined the United States Army on August 2, 1971, in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. He served three tours overseas in Vietnam, Gelhausen, Germany, and Camp Casey, Korea. He worked in supply during his tour in Vietnam, then transferred to M60A3 Armor Division where he served as a M60A3 Tank Commander, until he with 21 years of service from Fort Knox, Kentucky, on August 31, 1991.
Wes went to CDL school in Florida after he retired from the Army and drove for National Distributors out of Sellersburg, Indiana for 15 years. He also worked as an instructor at Ameri-Mex Truck Driving School, H & L Enterprises, and NuYale Drycleaners CRDN division until health issues caused him to retire. He was also a lifetime member of the VFW.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother (who raised him), Elizabeth Free; and mother, Katherine Garrison.
Wes is survived by his wife, Pamela (Smith) Glosson; his daughters, Brenda (Glosson) Blackwell and her son Dyllan A. Bufford, Rebecca (Glosson) Case and her two sons Brody E. Kester and Luke J. Kester. He is also survived by his two stepchildren, John M. Clark and wife Tamera, and Dawn M. Clark.
Visitation will be held at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, IN 47150, US, on April 22, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Wes will be laid to rest at Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Madison, Indiana.
