Dan A. Sillings, Jr., 69 years of age died Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at his residence in Jeffersonville. He was born July 23, 1941 in New Albany, Indiana to the late Dan and Jeanette (Schmitt) Sillings, Sr. Dan was a graduate of Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana and was the former owner and operator of the old Dan Sillings Buick in New Albany.
Survivors include his sons, Dan Sillings, III (Tracy) of Corydon, Marty Damon (Avelina) of New Salisbury; grandchildren Spencer Sillings, Shanon Sillings, Nate Damon, Sharon Bynum, and David Bynum.
Visitation will be from 2:00 pm ~ 8:00 pm Friday at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana. His funeral service will be 10:00 am Saturday at the Kraft Spring Street Chapel with cremation to follow. Online condolences may be made at www.kraftfuneralservice.net.
