

Dave was born on November 6, 1943. Dave graduated from Providence High School and went on to serve in the armed forces. After his years of service, Dave proudly worked as chief of maintenance at Pillsbury where he eventually retired.
Dave had a talent and passion for building and remodeling vintage cars. He will be remembered as one of the best and brightest mechanics in the Kentuckiana area.
Dave met his beloved wife, Patty, in 1960. The pair have been by each other’s sides since they were 16 years old. Dave and Patty married in 1964 and welcomed their twin boys, Terry and Larry, in 1965. They built a beautiful life for themselves and filled their home with love and laughter.
Dave was predeceased by his father, James Robert Stickler, and mother, Mary “Bea” Stickler. He is survived by his wife, Patty Stickler, sons, Terry Stickler/ Julie Stickler and Larry Stickler/ Ann Stickler, brother, Steve Stickler/ Marilyn Stickler, grandchildren, Meagan Skinner/ Chris Skinner, Shelby Stickler, Hannah Mostellar/ Kyle Mostellar and Adam Stickler, Chase Stickler, and great-grandchildren, Ava Skinner, Olivia Skinner, and Scarlett Skinner.
A Celebration of Dave's life will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM with a service to be held at 11:30 AM at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana.
