David Ernest Kaltofen

David Ernest Kaltofen, 72, of New Albany, passed away April 17, 2021 at Baptist Health Floyd. He was born on October 25, 1948 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Ernest Kaltofen and Margaret Rainey Dotson. He was retired from Brown Foreman after 33 years and was the manager of Andy Frain of Kentucky for eight years. David was a veteran in the United States Army and an avid UK fan. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings, Wanda Beck, LeRoy Henshew and Barbara Griffin. David is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Patricia Baize Kaltofen; three sons, Doug Kaltofen (Laura), Scott Kaltofen (Ashley) and Kevin Kaltofen; four grandchildren, Julian, Hailee, Alayah and Jordan; and his beloved faithful fur friend, Heidi. Visitation will be from Noon to 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road. Funeral Service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home with burial to follow in Kraft Graceland Memorial Park. Expressions of sympathy are suggested to the Floyd County Animal Shelter.
