Funeral services for Dee Collins, 82, of New Albany, will be at noon Tuesday, Feb. 15, at Kraft Funeral Service, Charlestown Road Chapel, New Albany, with entombment to follow in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park. She died Thursday, Feb. 10, 2011, at Rolling Hills Health Care, New Albany.
The daughter of the late Harry C. and Leona Miller Wells, Dee was born Dec. 10, 1928, in New Albany. She was a member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church in New Albany.
Survivors include her husband, Neal Edward Collins; son, Garry Collins and his wife, Marylyn, of New Albany; granddaughters, Cher Hall and Joanna Brown, both of New Albany; grandson-in-law, Jerry Hall, of New Albany; great-grandchildren, Alexis Hall, Lauryn Young and Gracie Brown; and many dearly loved nieces and nephews and in-laws.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, Lois Case and Mary Ellen Bays; and her brother, Paul Wells.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday, and after 10 a.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home.
