Dennis L. "Denny" Eve

Dennis Lynn “Denny” Eve, 64 years of age died Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. He was born January 16, 1950 in New Albany, Indiana. Denny retired from General Electric in Louisville, was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic in New Albany, and loved playing softball for many years. He was preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth Betty Eve; siblings, Betty Ann Applegate, Donnie Applegate, Billy Applegate, and Tony Eve.

Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Lillian “Cookie” Eve; children, Melody Eve, Kristie Robinson (Brandon Veach), Robert Sperzel (Sherrie); grandchildren, Caitlin Gore, Laynee Robinson, Addison Vaughn, Corbin Veach; sister, Elizabeth “Peachie” Hochadel; twin sister, Debbie Lynn Eve Downs (Rick); numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial Visitation will be 12:00 pm until 7:00 pm Friday at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana. His Memorial Mass will be 7:00 pm Friday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in New Albany.

The family requests expressions of sympathy go to the American Heart Association.
