Ms. Diane proudly served as a director at PJ’s College of Cosmetology, formerly House of James, in Clarksville, IN for multiple decades. She had a passion for cosmetology and sharing her knowledge and experience with her students. She also enjoyed retail shopping and loved finding sales and deals at many stores throughout the Southern Indiana area.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Ferrell; her daughter Regina Canaday; her sister, Janice Creasy; and her brothers, Larry Akin and Roger Akin.
Ms. Diane is survived by her son Todd Ferrell (Mischelle) of Georgetown, IN; her grandsons, Cameron Ferrell (Caitlyn) of New Albany, IN and Jackson Ferrell of Corydon, IN; her great-grandson, Crue Ferrell; her sisters, Wilma Moore, Ernesteen Weems, Kathy Freeman and Teresa Fuqua; and many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Visitation will be held at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana on March 9th, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
