Donald Earl Seelye, age 56, of New Albany, Indiana passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2022. Donald was born April 8, 1966 in New Albany, Indiana to Lucian "Earl" and Rita Seelye. Don was a dedicated truck driver for M&M Cartage and was a reserve Police Officer in Southern Indiana from 1995 to 2011. He loved making model cars, enjoyed shooting, camping, and spending time with his family.
Don is preceded in death by a brother, Jeremy Scott Seelye.
Don is survived by his wife of eight years, Sharon Seelye; children, Hayden Seelye, Keaton Seelye (Allie Bedell), Jacob Wooten and Kirsten Wooten; parents, Lucian "Earl" and Rita Seelye; aunt and uncle, John and Barbara Seelye and his beloved German Shepherd, Tucker.
A visitation for Donald will be held Friday, September 16, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana 47150, followed by a funeral service at 6:00 PM.
