Ezekiel Colombus “Zeek” Hoyett, 29, passed away October 9, 2020 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. The son of Timothy D. Logar and Krystal Hoyett, Zeek was born April 26, 1991 in Nurnberg, Germany. Zeek was full of energy, loved life, and often went hiking with his dog, Honey. He also loved to cook, make slime, was a sports enthusiast, and enjoyed musical theater, especially Cats. Zeek had a beautiful smile, awesome laugh, a big heart and he loved spending time with his family.
He is survived by his father, Timothy Logar (Kim); his mother, Krystal Hoyett; siblings, Ezzy, Zachary, Timmy, and Nicole; grandparents, Freida Hoyett, Tim and Jane Logar, Rose Smith, and Marshall Hayslett; great grandmother, Wilma Moore; aunts, Coffina Ludgood (Lamont) and Tina Hayslett; uncles, Kem Farmer (Rosalind), Matt Logar (Amy), Patty Kramer (Jon) and Scott Hayslett (Brenda); nieces, Tiza and Kim; girlfriend, Chasity Hamilton and her children; canine companion, Honey; and numerous other nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be 12 pm – 2 pm Friday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. His Funeral Service will be 2 pm Friday in the Kraft Charlestown Road Chapel with cremation to follow. The service will be streamed live on Facebook at www.facebook.com/kraftfuneral.
