Gail was a sweet, sweet person, always with a smile on her face.  I'm sorry that she is gone and will be missed very much.  She and Bill were a wonderful couple. Loved them, Ruby Copeland



The world won’t be the same without Gail. She was the kindest, sweetest person I ever knew. Always ready to help when something needed done.  I will forever miss her beautiful, smiling face. Heaven is more beautiful with Gail in it but she will be sorely missed on earth. 

Gail and I shared a love for “Celtic Woman”, an Irish singing group. We saw the group live at the Louisville Palace. We also saw one of their members, Chloe, perform at Gail’s  church.  We had plans to attend another concert when COVID interfered.  Regrettably, I never got to meet Gail’s new grandson or see her new home. From phone conversations, I know she was thrilled about both. Rest In Peace Gail. You were greatly loved and are fondly remembered.

So sorry to hear of Gail's passing. I worked with her at Indiana Gas Company.  I still wear 2 Christmas sweat shirts Gail made for me many years ago.

I worked with Gail at Vectren. Sorry for the families loss. I will be out of town friday and will miss the funeral. RIP Gail!

Gail was more than a cousin but like a best friend.  We talked everyday for the pat 2 yrs and would drink emergenC (trying to avoid covid) we would say cheers before we drank. Laughed at what people around us might think.  Had many fun times together in Texas and Indiana. We did quilting retreats trips and cruises.  Many good memories.  We were always planning our next project we would do together.  I laughed when she said, I will put that in my suitcase right now.  She loved her new home, happy she enjoyed this last year.  I will think of her often, especially when I work on a project we planned.  Miss you always Gail.

We laughed at what people near us would think. Had many visits quilt trips and retreats. We wanted to spend time together on Mother’s Day 2020 and get out of our houses.  So I picked up Mcallisters curbside and we camped out in front of the shuttered Regal Movie theatre in Clarksville and enjoyed a lunch together. We did sit 6 feet apart when we had our masks off to eat, of course! A police office drove by slowly to see what we were up to. It then dawned on us we may be trespassing. But we waved and he waved and all was good.  I am so thankful to have spent that day with my mom and Aunt Gail. 

My son, Conner had a stuffed lamb named “Lamby”. For about the first 8 years of his life, he had to have Lamby at bedtime. Lamby was very special.  When He was 6, he went to a sleepover at our neighbor’s house. Unfortunately, our neighbors dog thought Lamby was a chew toy and chewed her ear off. We were devastated. I called Aunt Gail crying and asked if there was any way she could replace Lamby’s ear. She said she would do her best.  It wasn’t even 48 hours later and Aunt Gail brought her sewing machine & special materials to our house and performed surgery on Lamby & made a little boy very happy.  She was always there when we needed help.  This is one of the things that makes her so special & loved.   From: Franci
