

Genevieve “Ginny” Isaac Romeo, 88 years of age passed away Friday June 17th, 2016 with her family by her side at The Villages at Historic Silvercrest. She was born December 7, 1927 and was the eldest daughter of Myrtle (Wiseman) and B.V. Isaac of Louisville, KY. Ginny led a full life working hard from a young age at numerous sales positions as well as the owner with her husband of two businesses until the time she retired from the Sunbeam Corporation where she was the first Woman sales representative for the company. Ginny and Guy were the ones that both sides of the family always called in time of tragedy or when someone needed help. They were always there to help. They left this world a little better by being here and they are now united once again in heaven. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years Guy A. Romeo Sr., a daughter, Gina Rose and five brothers and sisters. She will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by her family and all who knew her. The family wishes to express their sincere thanks to the care givers and staff of The Villages at Historic Silvercrest who treated our
mother as a family member of their own.
Survivors include: Two sons: Guy A. (Tony) Romeo Jr. (Benita) and Steve Romeo.
One Daughter: Anita Gavin (Jerry).
Ten Grandchildren and many Great-Grandchildren
Brother James Isaac (Jean) and one sister Patty Vidrine (Charles).
Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm Monday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. Her Funeral Service will be 12:00 noon Tuesday June 21st, at the Kraft Charlestown Rd. Chapel. Burial will be at Resthaven Memorial Park in Louisville, KY.
