Helen Louise (Timberlake) Mundy, age 73, of New Albany, Indiana passed away on Monday, August 26, 2024. Helen was born in New Albany, Indiana on September 11, 1950 and was the third out of thirteenth child born to the late Alfred and Thelma Jean Timberlake. She retired from Lincoln Hills Healthcare with over 30 years of service. She was an avid Bingo Player and loved to go to the casino.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Ryan Mundy; two brothers , Norman Timberlake and James Timberlake; and a sister, Diane Wright.
Helen is survived by three children, Patricia (Mark) Phipps, Sherry (Mauricio) Martinez and Norman Mundy; eleven cherished grandchildren, Timberlie Murphy, Kain Martinez, Maritsa Martinez, Rachel Wear, Jacob Phipps, Danielle Phipps, Shane Mundy, Sarah Mundy, Jax Mundy, Corey Phipps and Casey Phipps; ten great-grandchildren, Conner, Kali, Mauricio, Isaiah, Noah, Nelahara, Ryan, Naomi, Mason and Sophia; siblings, Charlie Timberlake, Susan Beaven; Donna Pellman, Nathan Timberlake, Elizabeth Storms, Terri Parker, Alfred Timberlake, Jr., Gary Timberlake and Larry Timberlake; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Helen will be held Friday, August 30, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Rd, New Albany, Indiana 47150. Funeral service will be Saturday, August 31, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Kraft Funeral Service with burial to follow in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
