Helen Marie (Schroeder) Rudy, 89, died Monday, November 2, 2015 surrounded by her family at Autumn Woods Health Campus in New Albany. She was born December 8, 1925 in Floyd County, Indiana to the late Henry and Caroline (Korbe) Schroeder. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Lemerle “Bud” Rudy; infant son, Randall Rudy; grandson, Kevin Conrad; twin infant grandsons, George and August Rudy; infant grandson, Michael Scott Rudy; son-in-law Jerry Richards; 3 sisters; and 4 brothers.

She is survived by her 7 sons, Robert Rudy (Teddy), Stephen Rudy (Janie), M. Thomas Rudy (Cindy), Dale Rudy (Bea), Keith Rudy (Janet), Patrick Rudy (Kathy), and John Rudy (Tammy); 10 daughters, Beverly McDonald (Bob), Mary Ann Conrad (Sam), Barbara Richards, Kathleen Mayfield (Larry), Theresa Worrall (John), Linda Welch (Chris), Diane Cecil (Scott), Carolyn Craig (Eric), Luanne Grant (Donnie), and Laura Roberson (David); 41 grandchildren; and 33 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm Thursday and after 9:00 am Friday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. Her Funeral Mass will be 11:00 am Friday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 1752 Scheller Ln., New Albany, Indiana with burial to follow at Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery in New Albany, Indiana.

The family would like to express special thanks to the many caregivers at Autumn Woods Health Campus and Hosparus.
