Ivan R. Strange, 86 years of age died Sunday, October 30, 2016 at his home in New Albany, Indiana. He was born May 2, 1930 in Washington County, Indiana to the late Harley and Mildred (Patton) Strange. Ivan was a United States Army veteran of the Korean War and retired from Ford Motor Company. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Farrell Strange; and sister, Margaret Kopp.
Survivors include his wife, Minnie M. Strange; stepchildren, Thomas Ballew (Bernice), Cheryl Rowe (Dennis); brothers, Harold Strange, Robert Strange; grandchildren, Tonya, Shonda, Crystal, and Michael; numerous great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm Thursday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. A graveside service with military honors will be 2:00 pm Thursday at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany, Indiana.
