Jackson found love for life at a young age. His love of water began as a baby splashing in his parents’ pool, grew through years of competitive swimming, and continued with countless summer trips to the lake.
His love of cooking developed early as well. He bucked tradition and asked for an Easy-Bake Oven as soon as he was old enough, then a garden shortly after. He never tired of thinking up a new recipe to try.
His love of working hard was another trait he adopted early. He was always interested in the equipment that went into a job, and he always wanted to help with the job if he could. This love of his likely came from his love for helping people.
He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Diane Ferrell, and his aunt, Regina Canaday.
Jackson is survived by his parents, Todd and Mischelle Ferrell of Georgetown, IN; his grandmother, Susan Case of Charlestown, IN; his brother, Cameron Ferrell (Caitlyn) of New Albany, IN; and his son, whom he was so proud of and loved more than anything, Crue Ferrell. His love will continue through his family and many friends.
As an organ donor, Jackson's love to serve and help others will live on for years to come.
A Memorial Visitation will be held at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana, on Thursday, October 30, 2025, from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
