John Henry Lambert, age 76, of Clarksville, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, March 11, 2025. John was born in Plattsburgh, New York on April 13, 1948 to the late Francis and Frances Sweat Lambert. He was a veteran in the United States Army and was a retired Postal Carrier in Louisville, Kentucky. John enjoyed going to horse races and betting at the track.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Jane Marie (Senecal) Lambert and a sister, Betty Jean Murphy.
John is survived by two daughters, Hope Hart (Gary) and Amy Mefford (Joe Moore); grandchildren, Austin Searcy, Alyssa Neighbors (Chris), Chad Harris, Dylan Lambert, Carlina Searcy, Karina Lambert, Caden Gomez and Kyler Mefford; four great grandchildren, Bradley Wines, Patrick Wines, Millicent Searcy and Isabella Harris; brother, Larry Lambert (Donna) and Alan Lambert (Pat); and numerous nieces and nephews.
Inurnment will take place in Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery, 8220 Bragg Blvd, Spring Lake, North Carolina 28390.
