Joyce was a graduate from Clarksville High School. She worked for Jeff Boat/American Commercial Barge Lines for over 30 years, as well as JayC Food Store for over 10 years. An avid camper, Joyce loved exploring Indiana State Parks and spending time outdoors. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Joyce is survived by her husband of 48 years, Brian Zurschmiede; Children, Amber Wieger, Nathan Zurschmiede, Adam Zurschmiede, Kelsey Zurschmiede; Grandchildren, Hailey, Harper, Tyler, Bentley, Owen, Finn, Levi, and Abigail.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Bill & Margaret Dickerson; and son-in-law, Anthony Wieger.
Visitation will be Friday, January 2nd at Kraft Funeral Home (2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, IN 47150) from 2pm-8pm.
