Kathryn Lynn Coffey, age 61, of New Albany, Indiana passed away on Thursday, September 12, 2024. Kathy was born in Clarksville, Indiana on May 19, 1963 to the late Ronald and Agnes Veleta. She was a dedicated employee to Louisville Gas and Electric in the payroll department for over 25 years and was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. She was an avid UK Basketball, Chicago Cubs, Chicago Bears and Cincinnati Bengals fan. Kathy loved to bake, have cook outs and spend time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Gary Coffey; and a brother, Terry Veleta.
Kathy is survived by a daughter, Tammy Coffey and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Kathy will be held Thursday, September 19, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Rd, New Albany, Indiana 47150. Funeral mass will be Friday, September 20, 2024 at 10:00 AM at St Anthony of Padua Catholic Church with Friar John Bamman, OFM Conv. officiating, 316 N Sherwood Ave, Clarksville, Indiana 47129 with burial in St. Anthony Cemetery.
