I sorry to hear about the loss of Kenny. You and him taught me a lot about being an honest and hard working man. I'll forever remember and be grateful for the times working behind the Russel's Veggies market stand, and will treasure all the lessons I learned. We were so very sorry to learn about Kenny, a hardworking, gentle man. He was always so willing to share his knowledge and help us as we tried our hand at gardening. The vegetables from Russell’s market stand were on our table through the growing seasons and canned to enjoy for many winters. Kenny lives on in the lessons he taught us. We are grateful to have known him.

Kenny was the hardest working man I've ever known. His green thumb unsurpassed, and the envy of many.  He was the brawn behind the brains of Russell Veggies, which nourished our community both physically and spiritually for over 13 years.  The quality of his efforts spoke for themselves. 

I want to thank everyone for their countless and amazing expressions of support for our family in this time of sorrow and celebration.  We are so very grateful.

Kenny was my best friend in high school and we worked together at the New Albany Parks Department. We rode together to school for two years and after school we worked at parks department. We helped build the New Albany Community Park.

Kenny is the perfect example of how one person can make such a huge difference in this big world. He and Val took me under their wing as an inexperienced beekeeper setting up wears at the farmers market on a cardboard box. Kenny, you are one of those one in a million and I am so grateful to have had you as a part of my life. Due to your love for nature and the outdoors, you changed my life. Thank you for loving your community so much by providing the best of the best. I know your garden in heaven will be beautiful with the best fishing spot ever

Kenny was always a face I loved seeing at the farmer's market. When I first started down there with my baked goods he went crazy over my granola and I always loved being able to provide him with a tasty breakfast. He really sparked my interest growing my own food and inspired me to become a Master Gardener. I'm going to miss Kenny tremendously. 

We were so saddened to hear about Kenny. Our thoughts & prayers are with Val & the family. We got to know Kenny from the New Albany Farmers Market & followed his great  veggies & Val’s products when started at the Carr’s Market. You will be missed
