Larry Brown

Larry W. Brown, age 66, of Floyds Knobs, Indiana passed away on Saturday, July 2, 2022. Larry was born in New Albany, Indiana on January 8, 1956, to the late Elmer and Pearl (Lynch) Brown. He retired from VG Reed & Sons, where he had worked since graduating High School. Larry loved to hunt and fish, even from a very early age before he could own a gun. It advanced throughout his life to big game hunting. That was his happy place, sitting in a tree stand or hunting big game. Larry enjoyed spending time with his family. Larry is survived by one daughter, Amy Brown (Brian); four sisters, Debbie Collins (Art), Brenda Owens, Donna Eveslage (Michael), and Becky Schladant (Keith); also by many nieces and nephews that he adored. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Carolyn Mattingly; and a brother, Mark Brown. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, July 8, 2022, from 11:00 am ~ 3:00 pm at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana with a service to follow at 3:00 pm.
