Leslie Sanders, 85, died Monday, September 17, 2012 at his residence. Les was a veteran of the U.S. Army, retired from the New Albany Waste Water Sewage Plant and also operated his own garbage route in New Albany. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nettie Grace (Taylor) Sanders.
Survivors include his daughters, Patricia Sanders, Leslie Kota and Nancy Pickering (Andrew); grandchildren,. Stephanie Kota, David Pickering and Natasha Pickering.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am ~ 12:00 pm Thursday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany. His Funeral Service will be 12:00 pm Thursday in the Kraft Chapel with burial to follow in New Albany National Cemetery.
