Margaret C. Campbell Brandon

Margaret C. Brandon, 80 years of age, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, died Saturday, November 4, 2017, at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany. She was born January 21, 1937, in Schenectady, New York to the late Charles Stewart and Emily Snow (Brewer) Campbell. Margaret was a graduate of Louisville Collegiate and the Bryant and Stratton Business College in Louisville. She was an administrative assistant, executive secretary, and bookkeeper at the old Hoosier Panel Co. in New Albany, the Becker Law office, and Ameriprise Financial in Louisville, KY. She volunteered many hours to helping others in need, as well as supporting her grandchildren’s various endeavors. She was also a loving caretaker for several pets throughout her life, which she adored. Margaret will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by her family and friends.

Survivors include three loving daughters: Becky Davis (Jerry), Laura Lewis, and Anne Brandon-Norton (Matt); her three grandchildren who were the light of her life: Taylor, Emily, and Mitchell; devoted sister, Helen Akridge; and nieces and nephews.

Cremation was chosen. A Memorial Reception to celebrate Margaret’s life will be held Saturday, November 11th, from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday in the Kraft Spring Street Chapel, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany, IN. A private burial at Cave Hill Cemetery will occur at a later date.
