Mary R. Kemple

Mary R. Kemple, 86 years of age passed on Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at her home in Georgetown. Mary was born September 11, 1926 in New Albany, IN to the late Alfred C. and Ola Mae Knable. She was a housewife and a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in New Albany. She was kind, compassionate, sassy, opinionated, beautiful, champion of lost souls and the greatest of caregivers. No one made a better apple pie. She knew exactly what it meant to be family and gave that gift to all who remain. Survivors include: Husband of 66 years: John Kemple Children: Twila Henderson (John) Dewey Kemple Wini Kemple Harrison Eric Kemple (Cathy) Grandchildren: Scott Henderson, Buffy Troncin, Jason Henderson, Sunshine Phares, Adam Kemple, Kate Harrison, Nick Kemple, Megan Kemple 5 Great-Grandchildren Visitation will be from 3:00 pm ~ 8:00 pm Friday at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana.
