MICHAEL D. "MICKEY" GOLDMAN, 71, died Friday, May 2, 2014 at Norton Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. The son of the late Chester H. and Evelyn Crum Goldman, Mickey was born October 5, 1942 in New Albany, IN. He retired from AT&T after 39 years of service, was a member of the Chapter B Goldwing Road Riders in New Albany and was an avid bowler and fisherman.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Rose Marie (McAnerney) Goldman; daughters, Kelly Ann Goldman and Karen Lynn Goldman McLean (Tony); grandsons, Andrew Michael and Marcus Anthony McLean; siblings, Sue Dubois (Don), Barbara Hall (Billy), Pat Sekanic, Jonnie Miller, Roger Goldman, (Angie), Allen Goldman (Sharon), Kent Goldman and Gloria Bennethum (Steve); and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 4:00 pm ~ 8:00 pm Tuesday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. His Funeral Service will be 11:00 am Wednesday in the Kraft Charlestown Road Chapel with private entombment following in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions in his memory be made to Northside Christian Church or Hosparus of Louisville.
