Nancy Lou Blacketer, born on June 7, 1938, in Salvisa, Kentucky, passed away on December 15, 2025, at the age of 87. She was a resident of Clarksville, Indiana and was a retired Accountant with the Louisville Chamber of Commerce. Nancy was a member of Charlestown Road Church of Christ.
She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Lucille Sims; her husband, Carl Blacketer; two brothers, Bruce Sims and Wendell Sims; and a great grandson, Barrett Sedam.
Nancy is survived by a daughter, Deena Walts (Mick); grandchildren, Ashley Sedam (Alex), Bret Walts (Callahan), Bryce Walts and Aubrey Walts; great grandchildren, Xander Sedam, Carson Sedam and Willow Walts; a sister, Alisa Adams; and several nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on December 21, 2025, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at Kraft Funeral Service, located at 2776 Charlestown Rd, New Albany, Indiana, 47150. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm at the funeral home with private entombment at Kraft Graceland Memorial Park.
