Norma E. Ransdell, 83, died Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born November 29, 1934 in Marion County, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Virgil and Ethel Clarine (Whitlock) McCarty. Norma was the office manager and coordinator with Louisville Auto Auction in Clarksville,Indiana and retired from Mid America Auto Auction in Louisville, Kentucky. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her parents, brother Dave McCarty and sister-in-law Carmella McCarty.
She is survived by her five sons, Ronny (Donna), Mike, Ed (Dawn), Jim (Debbie), and Tim (Patty) Ransdell. One sibling Bill McCarty; and sister-in-law Sue McCarty. 10 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be 3:00 pm ~ 8 pm Friday and after 9:00 am Saturday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, IN. Her Funeral Service will be held 12:00 noon Saturday December 1st, at the Kraft Funeral Service Charlestown Rd. Chapel with entombment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park in Louisville, Kentucky.
