Norris Eugene “Gene” Garvey , born March 24, 1930 in Seymour, IN, passed away peacefully April 30, 2025 at his home in Floyds Knobs, IN. He was preceded in death by his parents, Norris Irwin and Thelma Faye (Hudson) Garvey. He is survived by his daughters, Nancy Garvey and Wendy Garvey Keenan, as well as his granddaughter, Madeline. He was the President and Founder of EAA Chapter 1042 at Clark County Airport, and also a founding member and coach of Clarksville Little League football.
A visitation for Gene will be held Thursday, May 8, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana 47150. A funeral service will occur Friday, May 9, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Kraft Funeral Service.
