Patricia Ann Bennett, age 88, passed away on November 9, 2024. She was born on October 13, 1936, to the late Dr. Ward Lewis Corum and Elizabeth Delcie (Tharp) Corum. Pat was married to the love of her life, the late Roy Thomas Bennett. She graduated from Shawnee High School and later would go on to become an X-ray technician. She was a member of the “Sweet Adeline’s” singing group in Louisville, Kentucky. She was also very active with the Nevada Mills United Methodist Church, where she would sing in the choir when she and her husband, Roy, moved to Fremont, Indiana.
Some of Pat’s hobbies included needlepoint, crocheting, reading, and writing. She also loved cooking, collecting, and sharing recipes.
Along with her parents and husband, Roy Thomas Bennett, Pat is also preceded in death by a brother, Ward “Bud” Corum Jr.
Pat is survived by her sister-in-law, Harriet Corum, nephews Jon Corum and Jeff Corum (Tricia), and great-niece, Ella Corum.
There will be no services. Kraft Funeral Service has been entrusted with the cremation.
