Paul Michael Schaefer

Paul Michael Schaefer, 62 years of age, entered into eternal life Sunday, September 11, 2016, surrounded by his loving friends and family after a courageous battle with colon cancer. He was born April 8, 1954, in Miami Beach, FL, and was the warehouse manager at Richards Electric in Louisville. Paul’s memberships included Lanesville Christian Church, Northside Cancer Support Group, Gilda’s Club of Louisville, and the Greater Louisville Golden Retriever Club. Paul enjoyed spending time with friends and family, playing the drums at church, the outdoors, and animals - especially Milo, Chloe, and his beloved golden retriever Koda. Paul was preceded in death by his parents Mildred Marie (Bir) and John Daniel Schaefer. He is survived by his loving family Ami and Gary Reinhardt, and the two lights of his life - his daughters Heather and Holly Schaefer.

Visitation will be from 3:00 pm ~ 8:00 pm Wednesday and after 10:00 am Thursday at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana. His Funeral Service will be celebrated 1:00 pm Thursday at Lanesville Christian Church, 8090 Tandy Rd. NE, Lanesville, IN.
