Paul L. Wilson, 73, of New Albany, Indiana passed away July 17, 2021 at Kindred at Jewish Hospital. He was born on June 6, 1948 in New Albany, Indiana to the late John William Wilson and Oma Elizabeth Wilson. He was retired from Haas Cabinet Company Inc., a veteran in the United States Army for two years and United States Army Reserves for 20 years. He was very involved with the Clark-Floyd Special Olympics since 1987.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers, Kenneth Wilson, Floyd Wilson, Robert Wilson and Donald Wilson.
Paul is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Sheila Lawhorn Wilson; three daughters, Reba (Kory) Wright, Paula (Mike) Sneed and Laura (Michael) McGorty; six grandchildren, Kody, Cheyenne, Jessica (Paul), Shaylan, Kaitlan and Makala; one great-grandson, C.J.; two sisters, Edna Hill and Brenda McMillen as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, July 22, 2021 at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 East Spring Street. Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm on Friday July 23, 2021 at the funeral home with burial to follow in Kraft Graceland Memorial Park.
