Pearl "Patty" Jenks, 89, of New Albany, Indiana passed away on Thursday, April 27, 2023, at Baptist Health Floyd. Patty was born in Smithfield, Virginia on February 13, 1934, to the late John H. Carroll and Erma Violess Gay Padgett. She was a retired Administrative Assistant with Ambrosius Construction. Patty was a member of the First Church of God, the American Legion Post 28 and VFW Ladies Auxiliary 3281.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph W. Jenks Jr.; a daughter, Kimberly Dawn Rosen and a son-in-law, Mike West.
Patty is survived by two daughters, Deborah Lynn Wartschlager and Diane West; grandchildren, Sarah Lynn Wartschlager and Matthew Logan West and her partner, Charles Marking.
Memorial Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm on Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road with a memorial service following.
Expressions of sympathy are suggested to Alzheimer's Association or American Heart Association.
