Raymond A. Loesch

RAYMOND A. LOESCH, 86, passed away Wednesday, March 29, 2017. The son of the late Chester and Clara (Gerdon) Loesch, Raymond was born March 11, 1931 in New Albany. He worked at Paramount Plywood, was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, and was a Salvation Army Bell Ringer for 30 years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sons-in-law, Arnold Cobb and James Young; and siblings, Rosamond, Robert, Rita, and Richard.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley A. (Amick) Loesch; children, Raymond P. Loesch, Debbie Page (Kevin), Teresa M. Young, and Mary Sorrels; grandchildren, Travis, Chris, Jonathan, Matthew, Jacob, and Noah; and great grandchildren, Olivia and Benjamin.

Visitation will be 12:00 pm ~ 6:00 pm Sunday and after 9:00 am Monday at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany. His Funeral Mass will be 10:00 am Monday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with entombment to follow in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany.
