Mr kinder was my absolute favorite teacher he would talk to me about stuff I had going on and gave me a lot of good advise such an amazing teacher 

It’s been a year. It seems like an eternity, yet your love feels so clear, so recent. What an Uncle you were! I pray you knew that. I pray it much!! And very much love to Aunt Mary, and to Randy, Sam, and Kiersten. One day we’ll all be together again. What a day that will be!

Mr. Kinder was an amazing teacher! I will never forget his class in the old SCJHS. He made connections with his students which, in turn, made great teaching opportunities. Now that I am a teacher, I was privileged enough to have him as my substitute teacher, as well. It’s pretty awesome when a teacher remembers you after 15-20 years. He will truly be missed at SC and West Clark! 

  Mr. Kinder was one of the best men I ever knew. He was a loving Christain father and husband and an excellent teacher. I had him for two years in high school and I had the privilege of being his student assistant during my senior year. Years later I went to his church for a while and saw first hand his devotion to his wife Mary.   In the last few years, we reconnected on Facebook and I witnessed his love and affection for his grandson, he was truly a proud grandpa. The world was a better place for him being in it.

Mr. Kinder is one of those teachers you just never forget! I first met him in middle school and those were my worst years!! I was awful, but Mr. Kinder still took time to try and teach me. I remember we had a % system in middle school and once you got to 21% you went to the office for punishment.  We were not allowed to chew gum but I loved gum so I chewed it anyway.  Mr. Kinder caught me and gave me the percentage to put me at 21. Thing is I wasn't mad at him, I respected him greatly. When I got to high school I had him again for English,  and by then I had mostly straightened out. We always loved his quick wit and how he could dish out the sarcasm right back to us. He's an original.  Such a sweet kind man. 
He made a difference in so many people's life including mine.😍

Mr Kinder was by far the best teacher I ever had.  I was blessed to have him in middle school and high school. He is the reason I'm alive today. He knew family life, and he truley cared about me. He prayed for and with me more than once. He loved our Lord and was not ashamed to tell anyone.  This man will truley be misssd. Our loss,  heaven's gain.

Mr. Kinder was my teacher in junior high. He was always kind and smiling. He talked to us like we were his own kids. I lost touch with him after junior high but would occasionally run into him here and there. We became friends on Facebook and he would always send me Birthday wishes and occasionally comment on my posts. His sweet wife would donate things for my art room too. Such a wonderful couple. My prayers go out to Mary, Randy, and the rest of the family. He will be greatly missed.

Mr.Kinder was one of the best substitute teachers he was very nice and would even like to talk and tell jokes! Not only was he a great substitute teacher but once you got your work done he would be glad to have a conversation with you! I Remember knowing when my teachers were going to have a sub and I would always say to myself “I hope it’s Mr.Kinder” he is loved and cherished by the good memories with many school kids that had him! Sorry for your loss the Kinder family! This is a great loss for sure!

Mr. Kinder was my eleventh grade English teacher. I enjoyed being in his class. He really cared about the students and made sure everyone understood what he was teaching. I remember seeing him in the hallways always being friendly and helping others. Honored to be one of his students! Sending much love and prayers to his family and friends.  Rest in peace sir.

In 1967 I met Bob and Mary Ellen for the first time at Memphis Elementary. Bob was my teacher in 7th and 8th grades. All the children in my class always knew they would make a great couple. We were hoping anyway. That came true in November of 1968.  He was one  of those teachers that made sure you learned in his class. As all teachers and students as you move on in life you lose track of each other. Then in 2000 I started attending Christ Community Church and we reconnected. They both loved our fresh strawberries. He is truly a very loving man for his family and friends and especially for our LORD and SAVIOR. Everyone at CCCN will miss him so much. We love you Bob. 

We got to know the Kinders when our kids were in NAHS choir groups.  We would run into them at restaurants quite often and I would tease Bob.  "Don't you ever eat at home?"  He would reply, "NO!"

Nice folks.  In ways, Bob and I had much in common:  same birth year, same first name, many of the same ailments, etc.   When my wife passed away in February, they both  drove up to N. Vernon to pay their respects----so thoughtful!
Bob fought a brilliant battle since April 8th.  Now he can rest in peace.
 God Bless him and give solace to his family.

I will miss him and so will Bob Evans (an inside joke).

I know that Uncle Bob is healthy and enjoying heaven now with my parents and grandparents. However, I don't know how to express the sadness and loss that I feel. Heaven's gain is our loss, and it is great. I never knew a more gentleman than he. He loved my Aunt Mary and his family, especially Sam. Most importantly was his love and faithfulness to the Lord. Many prayers for Aunt Mary and family.
