Robert Otto Riall, age 98, of Sellersburg, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, June 5, 2024 surrounding by his loving family. Robert was born in Clark County, Indiana on November 8, 1925 to the late Auerlius and Catherine Bickel Riall and grew up in Floyds Knobs. He was a self employed excavating contractor for over 31 years until his retirement in 1987. He was a World War II Veteran in the United States Army stationed in Japan. Bob was a member of the St. Joe Hill Catholic Church, American Legion Post 204, Hoosier Knob Car Club, Floyds Knobs Conservation Club, and the Truck Association.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Lucille Riall; a daughter, Rhonda Harris.
Bob is survived by sons, Ron Riall of New Albany, Indiana and Randy Riall of Floyds Knobs, Indiana; six grandchildren; several great grandchildren; great great grandchildren; and a sister, Mary Balogh.
Visitation will be from 12- 6 pm on Sunday, June 9, 2024 and from 10-11 on Monday, June 10, 2024 at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 East Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana 47150.
Funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 am on Monday, June 10, 2024 at the funeral home with burial to follow in St. Joe Hill Cemetery.
