Ruby Ann Hooten, age 67, of New Albany, Indiana passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at Baptist Health Floyd. Ruby was born in New Albany, Indiana on October 30, 1955 to the late Albert and Edith Wilson Hines.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, James Hooten; six siblings, Ralph Hazen, Everette Hines, Herschel Hines, Bonnie Graves, Janet Griffin and Albert Hines Jr.
Ruby is survived by three siblings, Mayme Edwards (Donald), Paul Hazen and Ronnie Hines; and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to celebrate her life privately with inurnment in Veron Cemetery, Budd Road, New Albany, Indiana.
