Shannon Dale Catlett

Shannon Dale Catlett, 76, of New Albany, Indiana passed away on Monday, March 13, 2023, at Baptist Health Floyd. He was born on September 12, 1946, in Campbellsville, Kentucky to the late Ralph and Opal Catlett. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and was retired Detective for the Louisville Police Department with 20 years of service to the 6th District. After retirement, Shannon was the manager of Phoenix Place Apartments in Louisville and part time at Menards. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Douglas Catlett; and a step son, Dean Hardison. Shannon is survived by his wife of 40 years, Judy Catlett; a son, Timothy Catlett (Valerie); two daughters, Tia Robbins and Tana Morris; stepson, William Hardison; four grandchildren and a sister, Brenda Wisman. Visitation for Shannon will be held Saturday, March 18, 2023, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana 47150.
