Sue Ann McIntyre, age 80, of Jeffersonville, Indiana passed away on Friday, February 2, 2024. Sue was born in Jeffersonville, Indiana to Dudley and Ruby J. May. Sue was very active with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She was known for her sassiness and her love for shopping. Her passion was her dog, Pepper, gardening and watching the hummingbirds in her backyard.
Sue was preceded in death by her parents.
Sue is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, David A. McIntyre; her daughters, Rhonda S. McIntyre and Shayla (John) Garcia; her grandchildren, Andrew (Abigail) Chester, Brandon Chester, Lauren (Logan) Dehn, Emily Chester, Julie Pugh, and Johnnise Garcia; her great grandchildren, Oliver Chester, and Ryleigh Petro; and her brother, William (Sharon) May Jr.
Sue Ann's visitation will be from 2:00pm to 8:00pm, Thursday, February 8th and 10:00am to 12:00pm Friday, February 9th at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana.
Her funeral service will be at 12:00pm on Friday at the Kraft Chapel with burial to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
