I remember going to her home for a girls night of food & drink. We had great food & wine. She walked us through her fabulous home,(it was like a museum)so much to see, each room was set up as one of the countries or cities she had visited. Living room was Australia, Dining room was New York
her Bedroom was Oriental & mirrors everywhere.Her personality was everywhere.At the end of the evening we all had her wigs & hats on, taking pictures & just giggling the night away (I still have the pics to prove it)She was a wonderful,exuberant woman,a ball to be around. Mr. Spielberg & myself talk about her & Fred Jr all of the time, he misses both of them dearly. We all loved her much.

I remember Vaughn as a beautiful person . She always was happy and never a bad word about anyone. If you
 knew Vaughn you knew she would have a outfit that no one else would have. I loved her she was a wonderful beautiful person. I am thankful that I knew her.  And yes I can see her in Heaven with Fred Jr.

Michaelle, Your Mother sounds like a truly special person.  I know now where you get your drive.

Where do you begin to describe Vaughn?  From the time I was a child, I thought she was so beautiful; like a Barbie doll!  Her outfits each day outdid the one from the day before.  I remember one Derby, she was dressed in jockey silks; so cool!  One of my fondest memories was when my daughter was born she wanted to give me something memorable to celebrate her birth.  That ended up being a beautiful picture frame, that for the past 33 years has held a mother & child picture of the two of us.  
She was one of the wonderful, dedicated members of the Kunz's family and I feel very privileged that she was a part of my life.  Kunz's the Dutchman wouldn't have been the same without her.  She was always so full of life and fun.  We could all take a lesson from her on how to live life to the fullest.  I suppose she and Fred Jr. are celebrating their reunion in "The Peachtree Lounge" in heaven.  Rest in peace Vaughn.  My sympathies to you, her children.  I know how much she will be missed.

I'm very very sorry. I truly loved your mother.  She was my first "hat" client and we laughed ourselves silly when she brought in hats that literally filled my consignment shop.
I'll always remember the smile on her face when she brought in a "surprise" for me......it was a Mrs. Clause outfit, although I don't think Santa's wife would have wore it.  Every year it is displayed on a mannequin and every year I have to tell everyone it is not for sale and was a gift from a wonderful lady that I will never forget.
