VERNA L. (SINGLETON) CLOUD, 78, passed away Saturday, December 10, 2016. The daughter of the late Leroy and Elsie (Tranter) Singleton, Verna was born September 16, 1938 in Louisville, Kentucky. She was former owner of Pets Galore in Louisville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Cloud; and a brother, Jerry Singleton.
Verna is survived by her sister, Carolyn McKinley; seven nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 2:00 pm ~ 8:00 pm Wednesday at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana. There will be a special prayer service at 7:45 pm Wednesday at the funeral home with cremation to follow.
In lieu of flowers, it was Verna’s request that contributions be made to St. Joseph’s Children’s Home, 2823 Frankfort Avenue, Louisville, KY 40206.
