Wanda M. Long, 77 years of age passed away on Sunday, October 28, 2018 at Kentuckiana Medical Center. She was born September 25, 1941 to the late Benjamin Harrison and Margaret Ann (Dennis) Riggs. Wanda was a faithful follower of Christ and retired from Wyandot in Jeffersonville, Indiana. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Edna LaVern Riggs Frederick and brother, Garland Ray Riggs.
Survivors include her children, Russ E. Long, Teresa Cooper (John), Erica Sharp (Matt); sister, Gladys Johns, 14 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
A reception of family and friends will be from 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm Tuesday at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana.
The family requests expressions of sympathy to the American Cancer Society.
